Great time in Tenerife!!
I have gained a lot of knowledge about the different resorts and properties in Tenerife and i am looking forward to sharing this with my customers & colleagues.
I also really enjoyed the day at Siam Park... the tour was really detailed :))
I would definetly recommend the Sunset bay club, great location in Las Americas and very modern. Also the Regency Club was stunning, i loved the infinity pool and the rooms were really spacious.
Thanks to Lucy & Audrey for a great trip, I met some lovely people over there.

Doors open out to large patio area with benches for relaxing in the sunshine. There is a French Boules area to the right and ramps and steps down to the very extensive pool area. There is a Scuba dive centre, Hairdressers, Supermarket, Small bar and a Nightclub, restaurant and main bar area. There is also a Solarium above the pool for sunbathing with spectacular ocean views.
Spacious apartments with all the comfort you need, fully equipped kitchens, large bathrooms and big terraces, some affording sea and pool views.
Costa Del Silencio is in the South of Tenerife and only 20 minutes drive from the towns of Los Cristianos and Playa De Las Americas.
This is a comfortable resort mainly aimed at families and mature couples.

Brilliant ! Steven Harper
Thank you for a very interesting and fun trip to Tenerife. We have seen some excellent properties and they are certainly a step up from the norm that we sell.
Hopefully we will be able to send plenty of people to experience the great quality here with EVR .
Just one thing ........ Why were all the vacant apartments on the 5th floor and lifts are not something these canarians have taken to !!!!!!!!
Thanks again

Pearly Grey Ocean Club - Scott Grant Barrhead Travel
On arrival at the Pearly Grey reception is very inviting with brand new furnishings and modern contemporary feel which leads into a large bar and restaurant area.
Upon arrival we were greeting by the resort manager who hosted a selection of drinks for the group before our tour commenced.
The accommodation caters for families and mature couples due to the location of the resort in Callao Salvaje. The resort does host both a childrens playground and games area with table football and air hockey. There are also fantastic facilities for adults including the "jazzy" Dry Spa where you can get your hair done plus a selection of treatments. There is also a state of the art gym complete with sauna, spa and hot tub.
Upon our tour of the apartments we met a couple of regular visitors to the Pearly Grey who kindly allowed us to view their one bedroom apartment. Keith and Polly couldn´t speak highly enough about the accommodation and service from the staff. The apartment consisted of one bedroom with traditional style furnishing and a modern kitchen complete with dishwasher. We also viewed a studio apartment which was open plan and furnished to a very high standard. The large double bed which afforded a spectacular sea view which majority of the apartments also featured. The studios open plan kitchen and modern bathroom had a light and airy feel which made the accommdation seem more spacious.
The resort is very popular with repeat customers coming back every year.
The town of Callao Salvaje will be complete with a brand new beach area in the summer of 2011 which will also increase the demand for this ever popular location.
The Regency Country Club (No Likey - No Lighty!) - Dan Medlock & Scott Easen Holiday Shed
In the words of Audrey the 5* Regency Country Club is "lush". The resort is by far the best I have seen so far on this trip. It is situated in the area of Chayofa which is 5 minutes drive from Los Cristianos however it wouldnt be out of place in the Far East. The theme and style of the resort is based on the island of Bali. The resort has a large reception area with hand carved Far Eastern statues dotted around. The main attraction of this beautiful resort amongst a long list has to be the affinity swimming pool which offers spectacular panoramic views. There is a swim up pool bar along with a large inviting Jacuzzi, separate childrens pool and a Balinese style secluded sunbathing beds scattered around. The resort also have a mini golf, one of the largest chess boards and pieces in the world.... ever, plus a lovely childrens play area. There is also a full Spa service available. The Regency Country Club has a total of 75 rooms varying with 1, 2 and 3 bedroom apartments. All the apartments have luxury furnishings including modern kitchens with all facilities including dishwasher and microwave. The lounge areas all host large comfortable sofas and come complete with flatscreen tv and dvd players. The spacious bathrooms are well designed to a very high standard.
The resort offers self catering as a board basis however there are 2 restaurants and a bar plus the hotel provide a free mini bus every hour to different destinations including Los Cristianos and Las Americas. The reception is open 24 hours and has internet stations plus Wi-fi for those with laptops.
As a final note the resort is famous for hosting the dates for ITV1´s "Take Me Out" show. If the girls could see how fabulous this resort was all 30 girls would still have their lights on!
Both me and Scott have now applied for the next series so we can stay there :-)
Today we all went to Siam park, we were greeted by the very enthusiastic park manager who gave us a 2 hour guided tour of the park and told us all about the making of the park.
After that we had free time to ourselves, so we all had lunch at the on site restaurant, where there was a choice of burgers, stir fry or pizza.
The rides consisted of Tower of power, which is an almost vertical drop into a shark infested pool! The Dragon, The Giant, Mekong rapids, Siam beach, Naga racer, Vulcano, Jungle snakes, the Lost City for the kids, Mai Thai river and the wave pool. My personal favourite was the Dragon, which was full of suprises.
We all had a great time, thanks to attraction word for sponsring such a wonderful event!

Bex Gill - Sunshine.co.uk - Paradise Club
Set high in the resort, the Paradise Club affords fantastic views over the resort and to the island of La Gomera.
The lobby lounge has an ATM, an excursion booking desk and offers full reception services. On-site facilities include an extensive pool complex comprising a large sun terrace with loungers and parasols, 2 poolside bars and restaurants, a swimming pool, a children´s pool, a jacuzzi, a games area with pool and table tennis tables, mini golf and a children´s playroom and mini club with daily activities such as games and arts and crafts. In addition, there is a well stocked mini market with British products, DVD rentals and freshly baked bread.
The accommodation is located on several levels, however there are numerous lifts serving each of the 12 apartment blocks. The apartments are furnished to a high standard with fully equipped kitchens including a hob, oven, fridge freezer, kettle, toaster and coffee maker as standard. Also as standard are TV players and DVD players in the lounge area. The balconies almost double the size of the accommodation and really extend the living space.
Also on site there is an entertainment bar called Murphys offering live entertainment 6 nights a week, located next to the 2nd swimming pool again with sun terrace, loungers and parasols.
Although this is an extensive complex with several levels, the main life of the complex is all centrally located and easily accessible.
Kayleigh Formosa & Cara Hall Hays Travel Club Olympus
The best thing about the Club Olympus is the excellent location within Las Americas, only 4 minutes walk to the beach and centre. The hotel isnt really suitable for people with walking difficulties due to the amount of steps within the complex, however it is definately recommended to families, couples and groups. The hotel has 2 pools 1 heated pool being the large pool and the other is a small quiet pool.
It´s a large complex with 148 apartments onsite. There are 8 restaurants along the front of the complex, 1 pool bar, 1 onsite supermarket , and a small gym & salon. There is a childrens club Monday - Thursday for 4 - 12 year olds at a extra charge payable locally (€3 per week) The apartments and studios are mainly self catering but they can come to an agreement for half board option in resort only. There are 1 and 2 bedroom apartments and also duplex apartments are available which are popular for larger families. We can get rooms that sleep up to 6 people consisting of twin and double rooms and a sofa bed. Rooms also have a kitchen and living area and are quite basic. Rooms are well equiped and have flat screen tv´s.
Overall we would reccomend this property due to its fabulous location and self catering facilities.

Scott Grant - Barrhead Travel - Hollywood Mirage Los Cristianos
Today we visited the Hollywood Mirage, which is my personal favourite of the educational so far.
The accommodation certainly lives up to its grand title, and you do feel like you are in Hollywood on arrival as the resort has its own little roads to get to the various blocks. Similar to the Beverly Hills accommodation next door, the enterance at reception is pristine clean, and you feel as though you are in a high class establishment.
The accommodation has 335 units, ranging from studios, 1 bed apts, and 2 bed apts. The views are spectacular, and the higher you go the more breathtaking the view. The accommodation has excellent facilities, including the sport centre, which hosts a squash court, saunas and a huge jacuzzi!!
The accommodation is slightly tricky to get around if you have walking difficulties, although the blocks have lift facilities and also a disabled access shower room.
The room standards are very high, with some rooms having silver tea sets, some with two floors and some with balconies which could fit over 20 people, all 15 of us fitted on it no bother.
The accommodation also does have the added facility of a courtesy bus to the beach every 30 mins, and in high season has kids club which takes children from four to twelve.
The on-site supermarket, hairdressers and beauty salon are particularly popular with the guests, and the resort does have the feel of having enough facilities to save you from going out of the front door your whole stay.
Overall the accommodation is suitable for clients who want some luxury, and cater for families and couples.

Tania Vinagre The Co-operative Travel- Royal Park Albatros
Today we visited the Royal Park Albatros, this property is situated between two golf courses, great for people that love this sport or if you just want to relax. The entrance is very modern with a spacious sitting area with a colourful and relaxing feel.
First port of call was the elegant restaurant where we had a fab lunch, and a spectacular view of the heated swimming pool.
We have visited a 1bed standard apartment, nice size bedroom, fully equipped kitchen and a comfortable living area. It also has a nice balcony.
This property is also great for families, where you can hire sterilizers, cots, highchairs and pushchairs at no extra charge.
This is a self catering property but you can upgrade locally to half board option or bed and breakfast.
Half Board from 175 euros per adult 83 euros (per child per week )
Bed and Breakfast from 7.50 euros per person ( per day)

Tania Chapman - Sunshine.co.uk - Beverley Hills Heights
On leaving the Beverley Hills Club, we crossed the road to visit the sister property, the Beverley Hills Heights.
Similar in design, the lobby here also leads into a pretty inner courtyard with Spanish style blue and white tiled walls, a fountain and a bar with seating in the courtyard and on a balcony area overlooking the pool.
The swimming pool area was quiet and relaxing and the terrace was surrounded by attractive planted areas. The children´s pool was thoughtfully shaded with a high canopy.
There were 113 apartments comprising 1 bedroom apartments and 2 bedroom duplex apartments with marble bathrooms, white tiled floors and stylish furnishings.
Guests of the Beverley Hills Heights can use the facilities of the Beverley Hills Club (please refer to previous post).

Visited the Beverley Hills Club in Los Cristianos to review the property. The entrance lobby followed through to a pretty inner piazza with a cafe bar, a fountain and well stocked supermarket.
The apartments were of a very high standard and comprised 247 studios and 1 and 2 bedroom apartments, some of which were duplex. The apartments were modern with neutral decor, good quality furnishings, plasma televisions and well fitted kitchens.
The complex has two separate swimming pools, one is quiet and the other is host to daytime activites. There is also a modern fitness gym, a bowling alley, a games area with pool tables, squash and tennis courts and, a sauna.
There are facilities for children of all ages ranging from baby equipment such as cots, stair gates, prams and high chairs to a social room for teenagers, a play room for ages 4-12 and a soft play area for youngsters.
The complex is set on a hillside but it does run a courtesy bus into Los Cristianos all day until early evening as well as to the Sunday market.
